Our Story

From a single depot to a global logistics network

Horizontide Logistics was founded in 2008 in Rotterdam with a single courier van and a simple conviction: that shipping should be predictable, transparent, and built around the customer — not the carrier.

In our first year we delivered 12,000 parcels across the Netherlands. By 2012 we had expanded into the European Union with hubs in Hamburg, Milan, and Madrid. The Asia-Pacific launch in 2016 opened trade lanes into Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, and our 2019 API platform made it possible for businesses to book and track shipments programmatically.

Today, Horizontide Logistics operates in 190+ countries through a network of 450+ partner hubs, 3,200+ vehicles, and 85 warehouses. We move 48 million packages a year for 12,000+ businesses — from e-commerce startups to Fortune 500 manufacturers.

Launched the Horizontide Logistics API platform

Released a REST API and webhook system letting businesses book shipments, generate labels, and track cargo programmatically. Enabled real-time ERP integration.

Carbon-neutral shipping pledge
